Michael B Wellington , FL December 29, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDK03ITWH0 2 broken "wheel and mount assemblies" (same side) and a few misc upper basket plastic part were broken With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. I just pulled the dishwasher out of its cabinet a little over a foot and removed the 2 screws holding each assembly in place and removed them. The previous gaskets (2 PER ASSEMBLY) seemed to be in perfect condition and remained stuck to the inside wall of the dishwasher... so I left them in place and replaced the assemblies and then replaced and tightened the screws holding the assemblies in place. I then carefully slid the dishwasher back to its original position and replaced the 2 screws into the underside of the counter. Then replaced the top rack... DONE! This repair was pretty easy. In terms of the "challenging" rating, I gave it a 2 mainly because the repair wasn't totally brainless and required a little common sense. Mike S Shawnee , KS April 22, 2023 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB7759AWS3 Roller& Mount Assembly for top rack broke Removed the top and bottom racks, then side plugs to remove side brace screws. Removed the bottom cover and insulation to raise the height adjusters. Then pulled the dishwasher out far enough to access the hex head screws holding the Mount Assembly on. I used the old gaskets after cleaning them and the slot for the part, then attached the new Mount Assembly, tightened it and replaced slide arms, racks, and tested the top rack for movement. Removing the slide arms was a little tricky and getting them to snap back in correctly. After sliding the dishwasher back in I readjusted the height adjusters, made sure the dishwasher door opened and closed then replaced the side brace screws (a little challenging), insulation and bottom cover after cleaning. Final step was to check for leaks. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
