John M Hopatcong , NJ April 25, 2014 Upper rack wheel broken Ordered new wheel assembly, which came in about a day and a half. The broken assembly was on the left front so I only had to slide the dishwasher out just enough to expose the two mounting screws on the outside of machine. When you remove the old assm there are two rubber washers on the back side. If you didn't order new ones, remember to remove them from broken assembly and install them onto the new piece.Overall this is an easy fix and took about ten minutes including pulling the machine away from the cabinet. Michael B Wellington , FL December 29, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDK03ITWH0 2 broken "wheel and mount assemblies" (same side) and a few misc upper basket plastic part were broken With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. I just pulled the dishwasher out of its cabinet a little over a foot and removed the 2 screws holding each assembly in place and removed them. The previous gaskets (2 PER ASSEMBLY) seemed to be in perfect condition and remained stuck to the inside wall of the dishwasher... so I left them in place and replaced the assemblies and then replaced and tightened the screws holding the assemblies in place. I then carefully slid the dishwasher back to its original position and replaced the 2 screws into the underside of the counter. Then replaced the top rack... DONE! This repair was pretty easy. In terms of the "challenging" rating, I gave it a 2 mainly because the repair wasn't totally brainless and required a little common sense. Mary K La Grange , IL June 29, 2015 The top wheel cracked off the wheel assembly (which holds the top basket) The upper basket needed to be removed. Then, I needed to pull the dishwasher out from under the counter top. I pulled the insulation back and then removed the wheel assembly with a crescent wrench. The new wheel assembly was installed and the dishwasher was moved back into position and the upper basket placed. Ken B Fox Island , WA June 20, 2014 The top tray of the dishwasher's front roller was broken I found the right part that I could visually verify. I ordered it and it came pretty quickly. I pulled the dishwasher out from under the cabinet and took out the screws that hold it to the framing. I unscrewed the old part and the new one was exactly the same. I screwed the new one in and reinstalled the tray. All is working well! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
