Chris A Saint Joseph , IL January 04, 2017 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MDE3500AYW Would not heat I figured there could only be a couple reasons why the dryer would not heat so I did some research. I read where you could test for continuity on the parts to determine which one was bad. A friend referred me to this site, I looked up the part for my particular model, ordered and replaced the part. It could not have been any easier. I will come back to this site with my future appliance parts needs for sure! Eric J Normal , IL December 16, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MDE6000AYW Heating element on our dryer was not working After an estimate of $270 to replace the dryer heating element, I decided to search the net for help. Appliance Parts Pros came to the rescue. Not only was the price the lowest ($100), but you also had a video for our exact dryer. All I did was put the model number of the dryer and up popped the a perfect layout detailing every dryer part. Not only was it easy to figure out what was needed but the video made installation almost foolproof. Except for spending 10 minutes on one rusty screw (isn't that always the case), the rest of the installation took maybe 5 minutes. Fabulous...by the way, I am a 68 year old female who was showing my 42 year old son how to do this. Caryn G Seattle , WA January 18, 2016 The drier tumbled but with no heat We replaced the heating assembly. A friend convinced me this was an easy fix. I researched the part, and found a terrific you tube video to walk me through the procedure. It was very straight forward, and took between 30-40 minutes to fix. It was very satisfying to complete this project. Thanks for the terrific video, and great customer service!
