Henry I Andover , NJ February 27, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WTW7600XW2 Lid would not stay open. I obtained the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. There were no videos or instructions for the repair. I chatted on line with customer service rep for the repairs . You have to remove the three screws in the back of the control panel cover and remove same, but be careful no to detach any wiring. Then you can access the screw that hold in the springs. On the left side you have to remove the liquid bleach cup, which is clipped in before removing the spring. Springs solved the problem. Michael F Fort Worth , TX July 25, 2017 The lid was not closing properly. I had to remove the lid from the top of the washer. Then remove the top of the washer to get access to the hinge. I removed the old hinge then replaced it with the new hinge. I also replace the lid hinge arm. The job was very simple after watching a few videos.
