J C T Eads , TN September 17, 2021 Appliance: Model JENN-AIR Torx screws broke off in burner base Not a very easy job. 1st you must disconnect gas lines, electric and blower fan. 2nd you must completely lift out the whole Jenn-Air unit and set it on 2x4 over the existing cutout, then you take off all the knobs, grills, burners off the cooktop. After that, you take off the side screws holding the top from the bottom. Then you remove the gas piping to that burner you are fixing and replace it. At this point, you can fix any other part that is bad and give the top a good cleaning. Put the top back together and reconnect everything. Not for the weak at heart. Read More...
