Whirlpool 67043-5 Hook- P.O. OEM Part

We ordered the hooks for the shelf that had replaceable hooks. And we ordered the bottom shelf called "Pick off Shelf." The Pick off Shelf was just a replaceable shelf and was no problem. The shelf with the hooks wasn't as easy, but that's because we aren't very "savvy" when it comes to fixing things that come with no directions. The "friendly stories" that were at the bottom of each part that we ordered told the experiences of folks. That was very helpful. We persevered and fixed it. The only thing that slowed us down was the fact that when we ordered the hooks it didn't say we'd need rivets to make it work, so after we had that explained to us and we ordered the rivets, we were able to get it done. Susan was the Customer Rep that guided us through this process. I can't say enough good things about her or the company. Our 21 year old refrigerator that worked fine except for having broken shelves in the door is fixed!

I have a 20+ year old Maytag that had two pick off shelves (the ones in the door) that had broken clips. I ordered the correct parts online using the detailed diagram. I received two clips very quickly but one was not correct, I called to explain the incorrect order and Shane (in customer Service) handled it for me, replaced the one that was not correct and had a new one to me overnight at no cost to me. I was able to repair the fridge myself saving me a huge house call service fee by a repairman! I love how AppliancePartsPros worked with me!!

Ordered replacement parts, removed old (broken) part, and replaced with new hook.

1. Went on line and googled fridge door shelf, found apliancepartspros.com, found the "How to find the model number" button and clicked on it (never knew how easy it was to get the model number off of a fridge) Without that feature I would have ended up moving the fridge out and looking on the back of it. 2. Looked for the shelf and within 5 minutes from the time I googled the shelf I found the part and ordered it. 3. Arrived in the mail 3 days later and had it out of the wrapper and shelf back on the door in about 5 minutes as well. (it took longer to unwrap the part than it took to install it on the shelf. NOTE: You must find something to wedge in the cavity where the shelf hook goes to hold it in place so you can reinstall the rivet. NOTE NOTE: The rivet is reusable if it was no broken when the hook broke. Just push the rivet pin all the way through to the inside of the cavity where the hook goes. 4. Great experience from the time I googled to the moment I re-hung the shelf on the door, my wife is HAPPY :) and all in less than a week and much cheaper than a repair-man 5. I will use appliancepartspros.com again if the need arises.
