Terry S Morgan Hill , CA April 23, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Top Loading Washer A606S Leaking water from bottom of washer found hose cracked just below the tub I replaced the hose between the tub and the pump. Marsha T Edgewater , MD January 11, 2017 Appliance: Model MAYTAG A482 Water leaking from drain hose I'm a 62 yr old female. I had water coming from under my washer (Maytag 30 yrs old!). I read some problems others have had and looked at some videos. I found out how to take the front off my washer and when I did (removed 2 screws at bottom of panel) I saw the drain hose had a large split in it! I ordered a new one, took me about 10 minutes to replace the hose ( removed 2 hose clamps took old hose off put clamps on new hose attached new hose) and put the washers front panel back on. Easy!!! So happy to have found tis site! Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
