How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005820 / WP213045 Tub To Pump Hose

Replace hose 

I removed the front panel to find a drain hose leaking. Finding the right part is easy with the actual drawing of all parts and part number attached in picture. My neighbor is so happy. THANKS APPLIANCE PARTS PRO 

Replaced belts and brake/clutch assembly. 

Using the washer model number, I was able to easily find the repair parts I needed and the order process was easy and painless! Watched the video and found it helpful. Actual repair time was about 15 minutes. Easy repair! 

I'm a 62 yr old female. I had water coming from under my washer (Maytag 30 yrs old!). I read some problems others have had and looked at some videos. I found out how to take the front off my washer and when I did (removed 2 screws at bottom of panel) I saw the drain hose had a large split in it! I ordered a new one, took me about 10 minutes to replace the hose ( removed 2 hose clamps took old hose off put clamps on new hose attached new hose) and put the washers front panel back on. Easy!!! So happy to have found tis site! 

Drained tub by bailing out most of water, then disconnected hose to pump and drained most into a pail. Found pump puller spinning with motor but impeller was not turning on shaft. Ordered new pump, hoses and belt kit. Repair took 5 minutes to complete with new parts! 

Opened front of washer saw split hose replaced 

Replacement 

Took off old hose and replaced with new hose. 

Remove two screws at the bottom of the front panel and pull the bottom of the panel forward to detach from the top. Loosen the clamps from the hose and remove the hose. Replaced with a new Tub to Pump Hose and I used new clamps. Install the front panel in reverse order.
