Jessica V West Bend , WI July 17, 2026 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator, French Door KRFC704FPS00 Icemaker hasn’t worked in years Our icemaker hasn’t worked in years, which is very frustrating because I have three teenagers that drink iced coffee every day. I have to fill ice trays or buy ice daily. We had an appliance repair person come last year and replace the water inlet valve and it did not fix it. I was hoping to surprise my family by fixing it myself. I noticed that the icemaker itself had a little white cord that was frayed. It actually looked like it was cut so I was sure that that was what was causing the problem so I replaced this part and unfortunately, it still doesn’t work. I’m giving this five stars because I’m assuming the part works it just doesn’t work in my machine because I have a different problem. Read More...
