Description

This is the surface burner igniter electrode for gas cooktops/ranges. It creates the spark that lights the surface burner, restoring reliable ignition and eliminating the need for manual lighting.

• Generates the spark to ignite the surface burner flame
• Helps address issues like no spark at a burner, intermittent ignition, or clicking without lighting
• Can resolve weak/damaged electrode tip causing poor spark
• Correct arcing to ground near the burner head

• Disconnect power and shut off gas before servicing
• Handle the ceramic insulator carefully to avoid cracking
• Ensure proper positioning and gap to the burner cap per service guidance
• Route and secure the lead away from heat and sharp edges; reconnect firmly to the spark module harness
