Lonna S Brimfield , IL July 12, 2016 Both freezer and refridgerator stopped cooling had a tech come out and diagnose it as needing a new invertor box It was simple to fix. The old invertor box was held in by one screw on the bottom left side. Once the screw was removed the the old box easily slid out. The green wire needed a socket set to remove the bolt and the other wires just pulled apart. Once the old box was out all that needed to be done was to reattach the new wires and they all just snap into place. John R Jacksonville , FL May 07, 2016 Appliance: Model 106.44433600 Refrigerator and freezer not staying cold due to an intermittent inverter I completely replaced the grayish greenish plastic box next to the compressor aka the inverter.The hardest part was getting the prongs underneath the black box on the left side of the compressor. I used a flat head screwdriver to open it by prying it. There is actually a tab on too and hinge like mechanism on bottom. It still closes up if the tab snaps off.
