Whirlpool WPW10152854 Ice Lever OEM Part

The water dispenser stopped working on my Sears Kenmore (Whirlpool) side-by-side refrigerator and after much research on the web I purchased the parts that commonly failed for this condition. I should have first taken the dispenser assembly apart but I didn't--it looked a little too intimidating to do twice. As it turns out, what actually broke was the plastic assembly that holds the water actuator switch in place so the dispenser lever could not strike it. I was able to secure it in place without purchasing the correct part -- I jury-rigged it with a screw and a tie-wrap and I must admit, it's better than before it broke! I am keeping the parts I did purchase from AppliancePartsPros.com just in case the old ones break in the future. I could have purchased the parts from Sears but I chose AppliancePartsPros.com because not only were their prices a little less but mostly because they went through the trouble of producing excellent how-to videos, which are posted on Youtube. Without the videos, I probably wouldn't have attempted the repair myself. I saved money on a service call so I wanted to reward them.

I went on this web site. Typed in refrigerator number. Part were available. I got shipped in 2 days. Put them in. She works great.

I ordered the ice door kit, along with a new water filter, new ice guide, ice lever and water lever which came as promised. They were all in dire need of replacing. While watching your video, I was able to do the repairs/replacements quite easily. I'm a woman of 56 years who prides herself in being able to do these repairs. I truly appreciate the how-to videos your company offers. They make what might seem impossible possible. Thank you for making my home repairs easier!!

Replaced worn out Ice Lever and broken Dispenser Guide per the instructions from the video. New Lever made the switch activate like it should! Video instructions were Great!!
