Whirlpool WP349639 Dryer Lint Screen Filter OEM Part

Removed old lint filter, inserted new one.

Component testing with volt/ohm meter to find faulty part. damaged lint filter also was a clue to lint build up in blower housing and this seems to have been the cause of the problem. build up of lint leads to an over heated blower housing and opens the thermal fuse

Replaced screen

Really a simple fix, removed the original 20 year old screen measured it and ordered a replacement from ApplianceParts.
