Raise range top a few inches and support from below . Remove screws under edge of top using screw holes in new top as guide [not all screws need to come out] .Remove two screws from center of lip of downdraft opening . Lift off old top . Heidi M Westfield Center , OH November 12, 2016 Broken glass on Jennair cooktop. Was able to easily find the replacement part; ordered it and received it within two days. The replacement was more complicated than I anticipated so I had the local appliance shop send a repairman to make the exchange. It was going to require disconnecting the electric source (not just turning off the breaker) in order to lift out the cooktop. The replacement was simple enough and your website had a great video explaining the process. The unanticipated complication was how the cooktop was "wired" underneath the counter top.
