Paul B Toronto , OH December 24, 2022 Appliance: Maytag Dishwasher MDB4949SDE3 The dishwasher was declining in water pressure the top rack wasn’t cleaning dishes. I replaced the motor, which includes the chopper assembly. The chopper screen was plugged up, so there was some kind of failure in it’s operation. The extra tool required is a compression ring pliers I bought for Pex tube plumbing. That is how the new motor plumbs in.
