Darlene B Bellerose , NY April 20, 2015 Wouldn't start I have not been able to as of yet. However, replacing this switch was so easy. I am a woman with no mechanical inclination at all. I went to a neighbor's house to borrow the ratchet(?). I watched the video and unscrewed the back and replaced the switch. Jim J Clearwater , FL July 16, 2014 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL ESTATE The push to start switch failed I checked out the "How To" video on U-Tube and it really was that simple. About ten minutes from start to finish. I removed 6 screws from the back cover panel of our dryer and the switch un-clipped from it's socket as shown in the video. I needed a screwdriver to start the wires off the switch posts and I simply replaced the wires one at a time. I replaced the back panel and installed the push knob. Job Done, dryer back in place barely 10 Mins. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
