Took the old one out, the new one fit superbly. The next time I will definitely put foil or an oven liner on the bottom rack to catch the drips from the pies as the Aqua-lift cleaning system on the Whirlpool oven did not do the job. It does take a special screwdriver with a square head. A phillips or flathead screwdriver will not work. All we did was remove the old oven bottom with a screwdriver, undid a couple of other easy-to-handle parts, put it all back together and done! Very simple process. The folks at Appliance Parts Pros did a great job explaining the "how to" and delivery was the very next day from my order. Outstanding! Simply removed two screws at back of bottom oven, replaced what appears to be a heat plate and reinstalled. Took less than 10 minutes.
