Michael C Monroe , WI July 21, 2017 Appliance: Whirlpool Dishwasher, Portable WDP340PAFW0 Discharge hose kept getting clogged Suspected that the discharge/sump pump was not working at peak performance. Put the new one on, and connected the shop-vac back up to the sink end, and viola -- hose was cleaned out! Because only a small amount came out, I'm certain that the pump was the issue. The friction pads were easy peasy. Just took out a couple of screws, removed the springs & extensions, and slipped on the new ones --- NICE! Once you see what to do it's a relatively easy repair. The replacement part worked perfectly. Planning watching videos and prep work, cleaning under dishwasher, took about an hour. It didn't start to work right but the more I used it, started working like it should. Don't really need any tools if turn up side down. Read More...
