Mr M Reading , PA June 18, 2016 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB8959AWS6 Both adjusters were broken causing the basket to tilt downward as the it was extended in order to be loaded the more it was loaded the further it would tilt downward I removed the basket, studied the old adjusters before removing them, and installed the new ones using some of the old parts(adjustment levers and the covers). adjusters work like a charm.. the only tool required was a screwdriver with removable torque bit. Saved having to buy a new didwasher and spending $500 or more. Took 30 minutes to fix with only a small allen wrench and a plier. Just removed the rack, took out 5 screws, unhooked the old part, snapped on the new, replaced the five screws, and good as new. took 15 minutes. Read More...
