Mr M Reading , PA June 18, 2016 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB8959AWS6 Both adjusters were broken causing the basket to tilt downward as the it was extended in order to be loaded the more it was loaded the further it would tilt downward I removed the basket, studied the old adjusters before removing them, and installed the new ones using some of the old parts(adjustment levers and the covers). adjusters work like a charm.. the only tool required was a screwdriver with removable torque bit. Saved having to buy a new didwasher and spending $500 or more. Took 30 minutes to fix with only a small allen wrench and a plier. Anthony B Mason , OH August 04, 2017 Appliance: Model MAYTAG The end came out and melted on the heater coil this led to the the top rack being pulled out and falling out of rail which broke the adjuster Ordered Parts from AoplicancePartsPros.com and received them within 2 days. Installed parts and everything works great now. I was pleasantly surprised that the end clips are a different type than was originally installed and are much better. Needed a star tool or bit to remove the screws, would have gave 5 stars if they included the star tip wrench that was need to install the part. Read More...
