Anna D Santa Rosa , CA January 28, 2017 Appliance: Estate Electric Dryer TEDX640JQ0 The dryer made a horrible metal on metal scraping noise when running We opened the dryer up with help from the videos on your site, and came to the conclusion that the rear drum-support rollers needed to be replaced. We thought the front bearing and seal looked a little past-it as well, so we ordered that and a new bearing ring to go with it, and a new dryer belt (just so we wouldn't have to get back into it again any time soon). I ordered the parts (standard shipping) at 4:30 PST on Tuesday and they arrived before 3:00 the next day! I replaced the front bearing and seal and the bearing ring by myself, and my boyfriend helped me with the drum-support rollers and belt, as well as reassembly. The dryer drum is big and awkward and it did help to have a second pair of hands, especially compressing the felt on the front bearing and seal in order to put the front back on the dryer. The videos were very clear and easy to understand and they warned of potential problems to look out for. I am extremely happy with my experience fixing my dryer thanks to your support. Read More...
