Whirlpool WP4452398 Microwave Door Torsion Spring (Rh) OEM Part

Turned power off. Unscrewed the two vertical trim pieces and the bottom trim piece(stainless). Slid microwave out a few inches. Unscrewed the two screws on the inside of the door toward the top that are recessed in the black plastic. (Besure to hold the door assembly together while doing this so you don't accidently drop the glass door). This exposed the bottom two springs. Usually one has a paint mark on the end to tell them apart. Replaced and put back together.

Followed the two videos which are excellent. Took 2 hours working carefully. Hint: take a 8x10 full sheet label. Peel off back and fold over. Draw a picture of the oven and put the screws on the sticky part of paper That way you can find the right ones to put back. Soaked vents in bath tub full of soapy water.

Followed YouTube videos. Replaced right spring. Used a heavy duty spring, however this is the second timevi have had to replace this spring. Your item is overpriced but not much else to choose from for a heavy duty spring.
