Video listed with my part number explained the repair and it was extremely easy...did not have to replace the strike because our dishwasher already came with a metal one...So no tools were necessary other that back of screwdriver to firmly press gasket into groove. I was considering just buying a new dishwasher to solve the problem. Well, I went to ApplianceParts Pro.com, ordered a new door gasket for my Whirlpool dishwasher. The gasket came in 3 days, and installed easily. The gasket solved my problem!! I spent a little over $50 instead of spending $750 on a new dishwasher.
