How to replace Float Switch Kit. I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt. The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. A ten minute job and the dishwasher is back in service (for half the cost of my local parts place) While I was at it (and saved $$)I replaced some of the broken plastic clips on the plate tines.(was using twist ties as temp fix)Thanks 24 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
