Philip M Reedsburg , WI April 03, 2014 Appliance: Estate Gas Dryer TGDS840PQ0 Dryer just stopped working I tested the timer switch and it had no continuity between the T & W contacts, White and Tan wires. Thomas A Cicero , IN April 26, 2015 Appliance: Estate Electric Dryer TEDS780JQ0 Dryer would shut off during operation I used a voltmeter to diagnose the problem. I ordered the part. It arrived 2 days later. I disconnected the dryer from the electrical source, removed old timer switch, switched wires to the new switch, then reinstalled new switch.
