Description

The washer timer is the mechanical controller that sequences each stage of the wash cycle. Replacing a worn timer restores proper advancing through fill, wash, drain, and spin so cycles start and finish reliably.

• Controls and advances the washer through fill, agitate, drain, and spin
• Sends power to the drive motor, water inlet valves, and pump at the correct times
• Determines cycle length and agitation/spin intervals
• Common symptoms: cycle won't advance or start, stops mid-cycle, only runs on one setting, dial doesn't move

What's included: Includes 1 timer assembly. Install notes:

• Disconnect power before servicing
• Access the timer through the control console; remove panel/screws as needed
• Move wires to the new timer one at a time to maintain correct positions
• Mount securely and reinstall the control knob and console
