Ryan J Brookfield , WI September 14, 2015 Top load whirlpool washer stalls and does not progress to drain / spin cycle Steps to repair as follows Check lid switch for proper continuity (on plug to main harness) If lid switch good, timer suspect Confirm timer diagnosis by using ladder-logic diagram included with the washer. Use jumper wires on the harness that plugs into the timer. Configure the jumpers such that the switching invokes the drain cycle.
