Ronald O Saginaw , MI September 25, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Refrigerator MSD2651KGB Water on floor around refrigerator Being an ex maintainence. person, I went down and turned off the water supply. Then I started to try to find the leak by removing the rear covers for the compressor and valves. Once removing a couple of covers where the dual valve was, I spotted where the water was coming from.I then pulled the electrical plug from the wall. Between the solenoid and valve. I removed the screws that held the valve in place. Then disconnected the three hoses going into valve and removed the two electrical connectors , which are color coded, from the valve. I now have the Dual Valve in hand. I went on the internet and found Appliance Parts Pros.com and called the number provided. The lady that answered ask for the Model Number of the Refrigerator and Part Number so she could verify that she is sending out the correct part. She asked how I wanted it shipped, and three to four days later it arrived. Exactly like the one that had gone bad. Installing it was easy, I just had to reassemble it as I took it out. Once installed I turned on the water looking for leaks, and then Plugged in the power cord. I filled a few glasses of water and made sure Ice-Maker was working and then put all the covers back on.. I did put the power cord back in after removing the Dual Valve just to make sure I didn't loose any refrigerator frozen foods or refrigerated foods. The plugs that I removed were not exposed to cause any problems while I waited for my parts to be received. Thanks to all of your company, and the lady that I ordered from, we are back up and running.
