Richard H Bartlett , TN March 07, 2016 Broken drive on door dispenser for ice maker My LG electric dryer stopped drying the other day and I searched on line for suggestions on what may have caused it to stop working. I came across AppliancePartsPros.com and quickly found some of the most common issues with my LG dryer. The problems were listed in the order of most common occurrence, and had extremely helpful and detailed instructions on how to not only diagnose the problem, they also showed exactly how to access and repair the issue. Unfortunately, it was late on a Thursday evening when the dryer stopped and with loads of laundry that had to be done, I sourced the parts from a local source. I followed the instructions on AppliancePartsPro.com and had my dryer up and going in just a few hours. If it were not for this site, I would not have known where to begin or even what to look for. AppliancePartsPros.com saved me hundreds on a repair bill and made me look like a genius to my wife. I really wished I could have waited, because I would have been more than happy to order the parts from AppliancePartsPro.com to help repay them for the effort they put into their site and the quality of their videos. Based on my success by following instructions and videos on AppliancePartsPro.com, I decided to tackle another simpler problem. The door dispenser for the icemaker on my KitchenAid side by side refrigerator stopped working two years ago and I could never really find the parts I needed without having to buy the entire dispenser for $200.00! I ordered the RIGHT parts from AppliancePartsPro.com and followed the perfectly clear repair video and fixed the dispenser. Cannot believe that we went a couple of years when all I needed was a few dollars in parts and literally 10 minutes of time to repair the dispenser. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this site and if at all possible, order your parts from them, even if it might cost a few pennies more. Your support will help them continue to provide great detail for problem solving and show you exactly how to fix your appliance. Dennis B Richardson , TX January 15, 2023 Not dispensing ice. The Whirlpool refrigerator ice maker is a good design. The 8 32 screw was a problem I could not remove it with the thread lock it prevented me from unscrewing it. Therefore I replaced the shaft the splined hub and spacer washers. It seems to work fine now. Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers

Christopher S Brunswick , GA March 07, 2018 Fridgidaire washer drain pump quit and whirlpool refrigerator ice bin dispenser I ordered multiple parts to fix my washer and refrigerator. Still waiting on a metal washer for my ice maker but the washer pump repair was as easy as the video explained and parts arrived on time. Took all of 30 min to swap the pumps with the proper tools and runs even more quiet than before. Very thankful for AppliancePartsPros and their service. Not sure what it would have cost for a repairman to come out to fix but I'm sure I saved a lot of money! Read More...
