This is a cylinder seal kit that is made for log splitters. Each of the seals is a part that helps the cylinder work so the log splitter can do its job. The cylinder seals are made of durable rubber and prevent air from leaking inside of the log splitter. With ordinary use, the cylinder seals can start to stretch or become brittle and may be incapable of keeping out air. When this occurs, the seals will need to be replaced with the ones in a cylinder seal kit. When replacing cylinder seals, a basic tool kit and a pair of work gloves may be needed. The log splitter should be turned off and have the spark plug wire disconnected. Place the splitter on a stable surface and disassembly it to gain access to the inner components. The old cylinders can be removed before replacing them with the contents of the cylinder seal kit. This cylinder seal kit is designed to be compatible with a variety of log splitters created by Cub Cadet, MTD, and Yard Machines. The component is sold on an individual basis. This is an authentic OEM replacement part that is directly sourced from the manufacturer.

V-type transmission belt transfers engine power to log splitter components. Replace if cracked, frayed, or slipping. Verify fit with your model number.
Log splitter not building pressure or splitting slowly? The gear pump powers hydraulic pressure for splitting. Moderate difficulty replacement part.
Carburetor assembly for chipper shredders and outdoor power equipment engines. Replaces damaged, worn, or corroded carburetors that affect fuel delivery.
Replacement fuel tank for lawn mowers. Mounts to mower exterior to hold fuel supply. Replace if cracked, leaking, damaged, or missing. Direct fit part.
Muffler spark arrestor screen that installs inside the exhaust system. Replace if cracked, clogged with carbon buildup, or missing for safe operation.
Muffler assembly that connects to the exhaust tube on lawn mowers and garden equipment. Replace if cracked, rusted, or damaged to restore proper exhaust flow.
Cylinder head assembly for small engines used in snow throwers and log splitters. Replaces cracked, warped, or damaged cylinder heads that compromise engine structure and seal integrity.
This is a crankcase gasket that seals the crankcase cover to the engine block on a lawn mower. It prevents oil from leaking out of the engine and keeps contaminants from entering the crankcase. Replace this gasket if you notice oil pooling beneath the engine, visible oil seepage around the crankcase cover, or if the gasket is torn or deteriorated.
Seals the crankcase halves to prevent oil leaks in lawn mowers, tillers, and outdoor power equipment. Replace if oil is leaking or during repairs.
Seals the dipstick oil fill tube on mowers and small engines. Replace if leaking oil or cracked to prevent engine damage. Confirm fit by model.
Seals carburetor to insulator plate, preventing fuel leaks. Replace when worn, cracked, or torn to restore engine efficiency. Verify fit with your model.
This replacement part is an oil seal. This is a genuine replacement part made by MTD. This part is used to ensure that oil and other fuel cannot escape from the tank. The seal prevents it from leaking during use to ensure the engine is able to run properly. A new oil seal might be needed if the current one has been damaged. If the seal is worn down and thinner than before, it can cause leaks and oil waste. If this is the case, the seal should be replaced immediately. Oil leakage can cause other issues within the machine. Refer to the owner's manual for more information on how to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM replacement part. This part is sold individually and is sourced directly from the manufacturer.
Connects piston to connecting rod inside the engine cylinder. Replace if pin is stripped, worn, or missing to restore proper piston assembly and movement.
Oil fill tube assembly for small engines on mowers, tillers, and chippers. Replace if cracked, damaged, or leaking. Installs on engine block.
This is an MTD rocker arm. The rocker arm works in conjunction with the engine and head. The job of the rocker arm is to push the intake valve open, allowing fuel and air to enter the cylinder. Since the rocker arm is a part of the head gasket system, any damage can cause the engine to run extremely weak. There could also be a noticeable clicking or ticking noise originating from the engine area of the mower. A visual inspection of the rocker arm will confirm any damage. Begin the repair by removing the muffler guard. After removal, move to the valve cover and remove that guard as well. Disconnect the fuel and air lines running to the head. Remove the spark plugs in the valve section. Finally, the rocker arm can be removed using a socket wrench. Repeat these steps in reverse to install the new rocker arm. This product is sourced directly from the manufacturer as a genuine OEM part. The component is available individually, separate from the original machine. This part is compatible with MTD and Cub Cadet brand equipment.
