Locate the old choke temperature control rod and remove the screws to the mounting assembly that hold the rod in place. Once removed, lift the old choke temperature control out and away from the mower and set it to the side. Replace with the new control rod and secure the mounting screws. Start up the mower to see if the choke function is working properly. If it does, the installation was a success.
