This dishwasher control panel is the central control unit found on the front of the appliance. All the buttons are housed on this component to control vital functions such as washing, rinsing, and water temperature. When the dishwasher shows signs of malfunction, specifically if it fails to engage in any one of the vital main functions, It's most likely the control panel or control board. Using a voltage tester will give a precise sign of whether a replacement part for this component will fix the issue. To start the replacement, unhook the dishwasher from its main power source and remove the appliance from the wall or counter. Depending on the model, the control panel should come out by pressing the fastening clips on the outer edges. Alternatively, there may be anchoring screws along the sides and top. After removing the control panel assembly, unplug the wire harness and prepare the new part for installation. This Whirlpool dishwasher control panel is a genuine OEM product sourced directly from Whirlpool. This is only available individually and is not included with any other components or the original appliance. This part is compatible with Whirlpool and Kenmore appliances.
