Admiral Dryer Terminal Block, Receptacle Parts

The Terminal Block is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool dryers. It is responsible for distributing electricity to key components that control drying operations.

Symptoms of a bad terminal block include:

• The dryer not heating up properly or failing to achieve the desired temperature
• Components like lights or timers not functioning
• Strange buzzing or humming noises coming from the dryer

Causes of terminal block failure can be worn or damaged wiring terminals, loose connections due to normal vibration, or corrosion buildup over several years of use.

This terminal block is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and select Kenmore dryer models.

This terminal block connects the appliance to household power, providing a secure point for the incoming power cord wires. Replacing a damaged terminal block restores a solid electrical connection and reduces fire risk. What it does:

• Secures and organizes incoming power cord wires to the appliance's internal wiring
• Provides stable electrical contact for consistent power delivery
• Prevents loose or arcing connections that can cause intermittent power or overheating
• Common symptoms: appliance won't power on, intermittent power loss, visible burning or melted plastic at the power entry point

• Disconnect power at the breaker and verify the appliance is de-energized before starting
• Confirm wire placement and tightness; replace any scorched or damaged wiring or connectors
• Use proper tools and follow the appliance wiring diagram; tighten terminal screws to manufacturer torque if specified
