Replaces a cracked or broken filter guard cover that protects the dishwasher's lower spray arm assembly. Installs over the filter in the tub bottom.
I watched the video first, then I exchanged the new guard filter and lower washer arm parts and it was done. I am glad I watched the video to know that I had to retain the end shields. Replaces a cracked, broken, or worn dishwasher upper spray arm that falls off during wash cycles. Installs in the top rack area to restore water spray.
Replaced the sprayer bar AND the nut that it fits into. Fully a 5 minute job, with no complications. Previously, it came off during each use of the dishwasher. Snap-in outlet connector that secures the upper spray arm assembly to the dishwasher. Replace if cracked, stripped, or won't hold the arm securely.
I was unable to remove the screwed snap outlet, therefore only replaced the upper spray arm and the wash arm retaining clip. This fixed the problem. It would have been helpful if a tip were given as how to remove the screwed in outlet snap nut. Read more
