Linda for Model Number SHY56A05 UC/14 (FD8301-) The dishwasher was working fine until yesterday, when it started to emit loud whining/buzzing in mid-cycle and now water is no longer spraying on the dishes. Do I need to replace the circulation pump, impeller or both?
Answer Linda, It most likely is a problem in the circulation motor impeller 00167085, Something hard(glass, seeds, ceramic, etc) got into the pump housing and damaged the impeller, now it won't produce the pressure needed to circulate the water up and through the spray arms.
