J.C. for Model Number SHE4AP05UC/06 Unit will not run but just spins the pump 2 times before ending with the clean light on. I did the work around for a while of resetting the programs and it worked, at this point though it will just perform erratic operations, like filling with water and not pumping out, or just spinning the pump for a long time. Considering the symptoms and how they have changed I'm wondering if I need to change the main control board, the control module or both.
Answer Hello J.C., You should first check for any water in the base that could be floating the flood switch float. This will cause the issue you are describing. The symptoms seem to change when the unit is left sitting long enough for the water to evaporate out and cause the issue to cycle back around again. What causes the issue is a water valve that does not open fully, causing a dribble of water to get into the base of the unit and float the flood switch. The correction for this issue is to remove the water valve, clear any water in the base of the unit, (I "wick" the water out with a towel that has no fabric softener on it), and replace the water valve 00622058.
