Ernie for Model Number NGT935 UC/01 So, over the past 6-8 months, the burners would click from time to time when the stove was not in use. Recently, over the last week, the stove is clicking pretty constant and not stopping while the stove is not in use. I have cleaned the entire cooktop when I disassembled it, and I have let everything dry. I also ordered and replaced the spark module from you guys. I reassembled it and it still continues to spark. It's all the burners sparking, and I would say that it clicks 20 or so times per minute. What else can I change? I already $150 into the repair. Any help would be great. Thanks!
Answer Ernie, based on the information provided, one or more of the spark switches 00189008 has a closed contact when it should have an open contact. To diagnose which one failed, the unit will need to be unplugged, the switches accessed, then remove the wires from one switch and test for continuity from terminal to terminal. This will need to be done to each switch at a time while plugging the wires back in when done testing. If any of the switches tested as having continuity when in the off position, the switch would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 19, 2019
