Michael B. for Model Number Thermador 48" dual oven 6 burner gas range The spark igniter on the left hand side (small oven) oven will not spark when dial is set to Bake. Gas (natural gas) does flow out of gas burner tube as it normally would when dial is turned to Bake setting. I switched spark igniter from the large oven to the small oven and it did not spark (spark igniter from small oven does work on large oven) so we can rule out the spark igniter. This Thermador unit does not have the standard looking blue spark igniter modules for the ovens as it does for the range top igniters. Which module do I need for the left oven spark igniter? Thank you Thermador professional 48" dual gas oven, 6 gas burner range with electric griddle. 2008 year, no model number any were on the unit.
Answer Hello Michael, You will need to pull the panel below the oven doors off to expose the model number on most of these units. Some will have an I.D. tag under the cooking surface. This can be caused by a thermostat, solenoid, gas valve, relay, or harness issue. For a more detailed diagnosis and specific part numbers we will require a model number. I'm sorry but you will need to locate the units' I.D. tag before we can recommend a part for the unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
