Vincent for Model Number SHX45P05UC/58 After working flawlessly for years my dishwasher has started acting up. It runs forever, maybe 4 hours until it stops regardless of the cycle. When it stops the dishes are barely wet and the soap is still mostly in the dispenser. I understand that it is likely due to the water not getting hot initially. Indeed if I run the hot water in the sink for a few minutes and then start the dishwasher it is able to complete the cycle in a reasonable amount of time and actually clean the dishes. Would that point to the heating relay on the controller or is the heating element to blame?
Answer Hello Vincent, If the soap is still in the dispenser, this is an indication of a lack of water circulation. You should verify the water fill and if not sufficient, the water valve 00607335 is most likely at fault. If the water is filling sufficiently, there may be a clogged filter or an issue with the circulation pump 00442548. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, January 18, 2018
