Rob for Model Number frs26f4cb3 Water will not flow into the ice maker. I have detached the feed line from the back, when the unit calls for water, the water does flow. How can I tell if the fill tube is frozen, it does not appear so? Is there a separator door higher in the fill tube that cannot be reached? Would defrosting the freezer work?
Answer Hi Rob. The fill tube can be twisted sideways 30 degrees and pulled out. If so then thaw out under the sink. Then you will need a water valve part # is 242252702. This valve will be a reason for a frozen fill tube. If not, then you will need to replace the ice maker because it tells the valve when to turn on for water. The ice maker is part # 5304458371.
