Archie for Model Number GSD2600G02 IN THE PAST 2 MONTHS I HAVE BURNED UP TO PUMPOUT SOLONOIDS (THE ORIGINAL AND ONE NEW ONE. I DO NOT THINK THE TIMER ADVANCED AT ALL. IS IT POSIBLE THAT THE TIMER HAS A TEMPORARY DEAD SPOT. I HAVE REMOVED THE TIMER AND APPLIED POWER, IT RUNS FINE OUT OF THE DISHWASHER.
Answer Archie, The timer advancing isn't really the issue. If your drain solenoid is burning up, thats going to be due to a wiring issue(pinched or shorted wire), timer contact issue, supplying power to the solenoid, or the wrong solenoid is installed. If you installed WD21X802 then go with the timer WD21X33639 as long as the wiring checks OK. Good Luck and Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, April 13, 2012
