Kenmore / Sears Dishwasher Control Board

Just removed from front and the console. I wound up replacing the control board because the technician that I had come out said that's what was wrong and it would cost $250 to fix. I replaced the control board and it didn't fix the problem. After doing more research and searching out the error codes, I discovered I had to replace the console. so i did. I went to appliancepartspro.com and found out that the problem could be the main circuit board. I went on and ordered the part, knowing it could be returned if necessary, but it was like music to my ears when I installed the part, myself, and turned the power back on. Easy. Searched the web and determined it was something called a noise filter. Ordered the part from ApplianceParts Pros. Received it in about 3 days, normal shipping. Replaced the part. Took about 15 minutes from start to finish. Problem solved. Cost less than $50. Read more

We purchased the electronic control board (for 1/2 of what the technician wanted for the part), opened up the door to the dishwasher, took out the old board and put in the new one. After looking for solutions online and watching some short videos, we decided to open the dishwasher up and try to fix it ourselves. We opened it up and found the circuit board had burned out causing a horrible odor. We ordered our new board, popped it in and we now have a working dishwasher. Hooray! Read more

I initially purchased a door switch, thinking that it would solve the problem. I replaced the switch by removing the top 6 star screws, removing the component cover and removing one of the door switches (using a 3/16 socket) with the new one that I bought but I still had the problem. It's very easy fix. If your unit flashing e2 f2. It's your relay board take screw if on door couple latched s on the gray relay box pull wires harness of slow. Re install the same way it came of Just remember to cut the power off first . Leave your door open when re powering unit. Read more

I was told by the person who took my order that I could find an instruction video on you tube . So I went there and follow those instructions. The repair went well although I did have a slight problem with the door latch and the soap dispenser lever. They both fell out as I was trying to install the timer, but I went back to the video and although it didn't show how to replace these two parts I was able to see how they were placed and was able to figure it out from there.
