Mike for Model Number HTDX100EM8WW I replaced the timer but dryer will not start. I checked power going to the dryer and it is hot. Dryer was working with old timer but stopped shortly before I ordered a new one. New timer is hooked up correctly. The dryer does not seem to have any power at all. Any advise?
Answer Hello Mike, you'll want to test the thermal fuse part number WE4M137, the door switch part number WE4M415 and the belt switch part number WD21X10261 as well as the idler arm. Either of these part could cause your unit to give you the symptom you are experiencing. Hope this helps and good luck! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 28, 2017
