Colin G for Model Number KUDS01FLSS6 I have a KitchenAid Superba - 7 years old. The membrane is worn through on the Start button. Also, the button won't work - pressing the "cancel" button runs a small segment of a cycle (not sure which one, but it's not water) and then the machine shuts down. If I press the "nomal" button, and the green LED comes on, and then press the "Start" button for a few seconds, the light goes out. Can't run a cycle at all now. DO I need to replace the user interface AND and the control panel - and will this solve the problem? Thank you!
Answer Collin, You're on track, you'll need to replace the control panel/keypad assembly. If the control board does not "see" an input from the touchpad, it will "shut down". Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, March 2, 2013
