Answer Corbin, you may want to test the suspension rods DC97-16350C by pressing down on the tub while it is empty. Once the tub is as far as it can go, quickly release it and the tub should immediately rise back into its original position without jumping up and down. If the tub does jump, then the suspension rods have failed and would need to be replaced.
