Shelby for Model Number dve50m7450w heating element I had to change my heating element in my Samsung dryer. Now it is over heating. Could I have my wires the wrong way? I didn’t take a picture of it and can’t find any info of which one goes where.
Answer Shelby, It is not likely that you wired the element wrong. The previous element could have overheated due to the same issue, which could have caused it to burn out. Check the venting to make sure that it is not clogged or restricted and if this is good then it would most likely be an issue with a relay on the control board sticking causing the heater to stay on too long.
