Bill July 02, 2024 for Model Number DV42H5000EW/A3-0000 My Samsung driver should showed an HE error code. It shows up within the first minute of operation and then the dryer quits. We are careful to clean the lint filter every time we use it. So, what needs to be done. I have looked at the possible repair parts needed. What do I need if any of them? Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Bill, It would be recommended to test the thermostats and thermistors on your unit to make sure that they are good. If they are good then also check the heating element to ensure that it is good. The HE error code indicates invalid heating temperatures in running the dryer. Read More...
Nikki April 06, 2024 for Model Number Samsung DVE50M7450W/A3 I was replacing the heating element in my Samsung dryer and snapped off the female quick release spade connector. It is the short blue wire that goes from the heating element to the next component - I think the thermostat. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find a replacement for that small blue wire. I don’t need the entire wire harness. Can you tell me a name or part number for that wire so I can replace it and get my dryer going again?
1 Answer Nikki, You can replace the terminal connector on the wire TJMA02875-1 otherwise you will need the harness. Read More...
Cheri February 17, 2024 for Model Number DV50F9A6EVW/A2-0001 I need a new heating assembly for my dryer. I am looking for the entire assembly sold together and that I can install as one unit (heating element w/housing), in lieu of a kit with all the separate pieces and parts (element, fuse, thermostat, etc). Do you have this available? Thank you
1 Answer Cheri, the heating element assembly DC97-14486A would be used with the model number provided. Read More...

Brock February 01, 2023 for Model Number DV422EWHDWR/AA First question I have is how do I know if I have the model # ending in either 0001 or 0002? The tag on the back of my samsung dryer just has DV422EWHDWR/AA. Second question is how do I know if I need the 3 wire or 2 wire assembly? I pulled my current one out and have three connections, but when I looked at the pictures on your site for the 2 wire assembly, that one looks like it has 3 connections too. Thanks!
1 Answer Brock, the model/serial tag behind the door would need to be referenced for the REV number of your appliance. However, the manufacturer shows this model only having two wires going to the ceramic block on the heater assembly DC97-14486A. Read More...
Ernie January 06, 2023 for Model Number DV42H5600EG/AC-0000 I need to replace my heating element assembly part # DC93-00154A. I understand that the assembly connects with 3 wires. Could you please explain how to connect these wires? I understand that this assembly comes with the thermostat and the thermal cut-off high limit attached. All YouTube videos that I have watched show the following wire connections. The blue wire and red wire go to the heater assembly. The blue wire and black wire go to the thermistor. The black wire and blue wire go to the cut-off fuse high limit. Can you clarify and explain the connections, please?
1 Answer Ernie, Thanks for the question!!! Any time using a YouTube video make sure it is from a trusted source. We do have a video here: https://youtu.be/3NcOjN10IHU This video shows the connections in full view and is easy to follow. Read More...

Bradford November 23, 2022 for Model Number DVE45T3200W/A3 Need to replace a bad heating element in my Samsung dryer and I'm seeing a lot of price disparity between official Samsung part and aftermarket kit (roughly $100-plus difference). My thermal sensor and thermostat are fine, so I don't really even need the full kit, so I'm trying to save a little money. So, my question is, are aftermarket elements safe to use in this instance?
1 Answer Hello Bradford, we cannot answer your question as we only offer manufacturers' OEM parts. Read More...
Curtis November 18, 2022 for Model Number Samsung DVE 45N5300W/A3 I changed out bad heating element now at the end of cycle I get an HC code. We already cleaned lint out and changed out vent under house with a new one. I’m not sure what else it could be we also put a new thermostat. The big black round one on the side of element.
1 Answer Curtis, thanks for the question!!! There are a couple of possibilities. The thermistor (AP4201716) could be bad. The thermistor resistance should measure 10K O @ 77°F. It is possible the vent could be too long. The is also a small chance the control board is the issue. Read More...
