Paul M for Model Number JDS8850BDS The four lower left functions of the control pad quit working. Does the function pad assmbly need to be replace or the electronic controller? We have had the controler replaced already is it possible that it has quit again?
Answer Paul, You will want to disconnect power to the unit and access the control board. Once you have access to the control board, disconnect the ribbon harness for the keypad and check to make sure that there is no corrosion on the harness or connector. If corrosion or build up then clean with a electrical cleaner. If it checks ok then reseat the ribbon harness and make sure that it has a good firm connection.
