Tim for Model Number MAH8700AWM I am getting error code "nd" and the washer stops with water left in the tub. I have taken the pump apart and the impeller is fine. The pump works to remove most of the water, but stops with around 22 minutes left in the wash cycle. I have checked for obstructions in the air dome hoses and in the hose from the tub to the pump. What else could be the problem?
Answer Hello Tim, First remove the hose from the inlet side of the drain pump and check for debris. If none found, remove the other end of this hose from the outer tub and check for debris. While the hose is off of the pump, blow through the drain hose towards the drain pump. If this is clear also, replace the drain pump WP34001320. The impeller has probably separated from the drain pump motor shaft. The problem could be in the control, but the pump is the more common failure on these units. Read More...
