Steven for Model Number LSR7233EZ0 Not sure if this model # is correct for my whirlpool, there is no model on the unit. It says whirlpool heavy duty super capacity...supreme. Anyhow, it seems to agitate slow, but that's not my biggest concern. It is horrible in the spin cycle. It came to the point where I recently would have to rig the lid to stay open, and give the machine a push, in order to get it spinning well. Now, It hardly wants to spin at all, even with help. So, I flipped it over, expecting a bad belt...but I don't see a belt. I pulled 3 bolts to try and remove this large hunk of steel (transmission??) and I couldn't get that out of there either. Any ideas on a fix??
Answer Steven, There are a couple of things you'll need to check. The drive coupling, and the clutch and brake assembly(s),and the spin tube and bearings for excess wear 285753A 285785 W10820043 . The "slow" agitation could be due to a slipping agitator due to partially stripped splines on the inside of the agitator WP3347288 .
