Lemongrass for Model Number DU1055XTSB3 I received the a replacement Control panel (ordered from AppliancePartsPro, with the ribbon cable. How do I disconnect the existing Ribbon cable from the circuit board. Do I slide it ? Do I pull it ? It is my understanding I don't need to solder anything. Once I am able to remove the existing ribbon cable, I should be able to reconnect the ribbon cable to the new control panel. Does it snap on? slide on? Thank you.
Answer Hello Lemongrass. Just grasp the sides of the connector on the end of the cable and pull it off the pins on the control board WPW10084142.
